TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Every customer is expected to acknowledge, accept and comply with our general sales and payment terms and conditions, even if purchase conditions are applicable, unless agreed differently in advance and by written means. The minimum age to place an order is 18 years.

Orders
Orders are accepted and processed as per our abilities and availabilities. The customer will obtain a written order confirmation comprising all transaction details.
Ordered goods cannot be cancelled. All goods will be delivered as described in the order confirmation.
We use solely professional image material to provide a realistic representation of our products.
Prices, delivery terms and property
All our prices include VAT. Prices listed on our website are contractual, unless in the event of over-power.
Delivery terms are strictly indicative. Maison Lointaine (Karfil BV) cannot be held responsible if the foreseen indicative delivery term is exceeded.
If an order is to be delivered outside of Belgium, Maison Lointaine (Karfil BV) will act as exporter and the customer will act as importer. Maison Lointaine (Karfil BV) cannot be held responsible for declaring local or national taxes and contributions.
Any delivered goods remain property of the seller until full payment of the respective due invoices.
Right of renunciation
Within 14 business days, the client has the right to communicate a renunciation of a purchase, without payment of any fees or communication of any justification, according to the European right of renunciation.
So the reason for return does not have to be mentioned but can be useful to us in order to improve our services and offers.
Transportation fees to return the product are at the customer’s charge.
Please contact Maison Lointaine (Karfil BV) prior to returning the product.
Conditions
A product can only be accepted for return if it meets our conditions and requirements for return. If not, your return request may be denied:
- The products need to be undamaged and unused.
- The products have to be returned in their original undamaged package. en
Exceptions
The right to renunciation is not applicable for:
- Non-standard or customized products
- Products that have been damaged, used or are not complete.
- Business clients liable to pay VAT
Any shipping costs are at the expense of the customer.
Return Policy
Maison Lointaine (Karfil BV) return policy allows you to return orders within 14 days, counting the day of receipt. If you regret a purchase, feel free to return the product in the same condition as received. Maison Lointaine accepts returns of unworn, unused, unwashed and unaltered products with all tags attached. After reception and approval by us, your money is refunded and placed in your account. Please allow us 10-14 business days to process your refund.
Sale items are non-refundable.
Complaints
Any complaint needs to be addressed to Maison Lointaine (Karfil BV) within 3 business days. After this term the delivered goods will be considered as accepted.
In the event of the customer refusal to accept the goods, they will be stored at the expense and risk of the customer, until full payment.
All our agreements are controlled by Belgian Law. In the event of disputes, cases will be brought only to courts in the jurisdisdiction of Brussels Belgium.
Payments
All our invoices are payable on line or via bank transfer.
